Benefits of advertising with The Community Guide®:
We do not commercialize the cover. The cover is not cluttered. The cover changes every month, creating a fresh, new look and not allowing stagnation. A cover sponsor gets a mention on the cover and an ad on the inside front, inside back or 3rd or 4th page.
We do not allow positions to be locked up in the book. The ads are rotated by size, creating fairness in placement for all advertisers. Some consumers will start from the front of a magazine and some from the back of a magazine. Rotation of the ads allows for the highest amount of visibility from month to month.
The Community Guide® is published 10 times annually. Flexible agreements are offered for 1, 2, 3 or 4 months with no long-term contracts. However, long-term proposals are available. There is discounted pricing for 2, 3 or 4-month agreements or single month multiple zone purchases.
Full color is included in the pricing. There is no up-sell from B&W.
Stories are of a local nature in the publication, this stretches the shelf life per issue.
Walk sequence high density saturation mailing totals 9 zones for 225,000 homes avg. 25,000 per zone, on a single family dwelling count, each home gets a magazine. Mail receipts are available to verify mailing.
No hi-rise apartment mailings or drop off. Apartment dwellers do not have the average spending of a homeowner (family 4 vs. 1). Drop offs are left in stores, not mailed. Relying on a customer to actually pick up an issue and use it is not the best-targeted approach to attracting customers.
Reduced competition, only 3-4 ads of the same industry are allowed in the publication, per zone.
We are NOT just a coupon book; our magazine is comprised of ads with and without coupons. Since the May 2004 issue the magazine is 56% coupons, 44% non-coupons. {back to top}
